1971 Honda SL175

This is a 1971 Honda SL175, the owner of this bike is Kurt Siegmund. I became friends with Kurt a few years ago and after working on a few of his beautiful group of collectible Hondas this is the newest addition. Kurt has a collection of various CB, CL, CT, SL, XL, and probably a few other super rare and nice Honda motorcycles. This SL was brought to me a couple of seasons ago in a couple of plastic totes, with the motor remains of 2 bikes. We then began the process of picking the best parts, processing items, and the re-assembly of the motor. At the completion of the engine I received the rolling chassis to finish the project. It has been a long painful journey for Kurt to build this bike, as he has resourced every NOS item for this bike, and it is a show stopper, and work of art. It has been a challenge for me as well but the final product makes me smile and the family and friend behind this bike is what makes what we do worth while.
